PLAYING with Daisy/ Mandi Mckay

Well Saturday, we went to our friend Debbie's to tend to her dog. We are dog sitting for about a week or so because Debbie's dad died. So she lives on a really nice lake and said we could use her toys.

We had a good time. The kids loved it. Emma was worried about leaches, but didn't see any.

We also spent the morning cooking for Mandi McKay's Alaska Moment. Here is a picture of her and MIM.

Vacation at Nana's

The kids did about everything you can think of, while in Iowa, They went to Adventurland, the pool alot, Race tracks, BBQs, Ball games *thier dads of course and the Cubs, and the famous... Bears Camp. Emma won a trip on the field for autographs (like the quarterback, coach and i'm not sure who else, but like 6 people) They had such a good time... Thanks Nana. :)

FISHING DERBY FOR KIDS IN HOMER ALAKSA

The kids are finally home. We went fishing down to Homer,AK. The fish and game put on a kids day. They provided the poles, bait and instructions. (we had our own poles). The kids had fun. We were fishing for Cohoe Silver Salmon. Dave was the only one who caught today out of our group. There was so many people there, it was shoulder to shoulder. Amazingly enough we didnt see any fish hooks in people. Some kid did snag dave's shirt and ripped it but not the skin. Ahhh its good to have them home...even though they had a good time in Iowa.
