EMMA SWIMMING 50 FREESTYLE= 1ST PLACE

Emma is ready to race the backstroke. She came in 5th out of 6. She was not happy to put is mildly.
Here is Emma diving in for her 50 freestyle race.
She took 1st place. Freestyle is her strong point.

I have a video of her swimming but it won't let me load it, its 120 mb and blogger only allows 100 mb. Any suggestions anyone???

Neighborhood Visitors have finally arrived

Well we had some visitors nearby. A mama bear and her cubs. They were playing about a mile or less from our house. My friend Darla actually got pictures, so I thought I would share. The kids are not nearly as nervous as they were last year. We do live in a noisy neighborhood now though. The noise of all the kids should scare them away. I hope!!!!!

Hello.....

This is the outside of our new house.
Emma is playing in the puddles in her sunday dress. She had a grand time.
Here is one of the walls we painted red. Obviously its not quite done.

I know, I know its been a long time since I have posted. We have been busy. We have finished up hockey, swimming is just finishing and soccer is still going, although Emma has dropped out and is not willing to talk about it.

She just said, Mom I don't want to go to soccer anymore, I don't like it when the ball comes by me.

I tried to talk to her and make sure she was sure, but her response is:

Don't talk to me about that anymore, I don't want to talk about it.

So no more soccer. That was easy, we went to all the practices and no games.

We did have Dave and Emma's school program which was very cute. It was all about traveling the USA. They have been learning about this all year, thus the license plates in the background. Dave made the Wyoming one and Emma made the Alaska one. They sang songs and danced. It was cute.

We also visited jenny and the gang. It was fun to see them. They took us to the amazing slides on base. The kids loved it.

We also moved. They are selling the house we were renting. Here are some pictures of it. We have a big hill for our yard. We painted 2 walls in the living room RED. Its pretty cool. We are not on the lake anymore. We are just down the street from our old house though.
