UPDATE....

WELL, I have not posted this week because we have been busy with a Hockey tournament. It is the Peninsula Winter Games. We have played 1-2 games every day this week. We are currently in 1st place. We have the semi-playoff game tonight, so we will know after that game if we are still going to be in the championship game. The kids are playing really well. They are playing againt Anchorage and Valley teams. They are hard to beat so that says alot. Dave is doing a good job. Friday night he made a goal. It was sooooo cute. It was a perfect set up and he slapped it in. Its just like they always practice. He got the game puck at the end of the night. (The coaches decide who earned the puck). He was soo excited. Well it's about time to head out to our 2nd game of the day........Time to freeze, its cold. It's an outdoor rink and this morning's game was about -15 degrees but is was supposed to warm up tonight so it should be 0 degrees or so...... that should be better. Pictures will come. :)

More fairbanks and hot springs

Here is Emma's trip home, it started the night before we left, she got a tummy ache and ended up throwing up for 3 days. One of which was our 10 hour drive home. It was so sad.
This is a pre-flu picture of Emma playing with cousin Sophie, Jenny's youngest on New Years Eve.
Also Emma again, enjoying the hot springs. Its nice, they have an indoor pool for kids that is warm and the outdoor lake for adults that is hot. she liked both.
Here is dave enjoying the outdoor lake, climbing the rocks around the lake.

Hockey games and Fairbanks trip..

Dave's jersey # is 99.

Here is one of Emma's new shirts she bought with her gift certificates from nana.
Here is the indoor hot springs pool in fairbanks.

More of Chena Hot Springs in fairbanks.

Dave playing in the Moose Fest Tournament

Here is a clip of Dave playing in the last tournament. They did loose, but played very well. They played teams that were from anchorage and are much. He still had fun. He loved it.

Joke of the Day

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director how you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized. "Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, and then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub." "Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No."said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug....... Do you want a bed near the window?"
