busy busy busy

This has been a very busy few weeks. Today Dave got his Bear Badge in Scouts, I guess it's the big one for 9 yr olds. It was fun they did a Pirates of the Carribean theme, so him and I had to walk the plank for our award. then they raced boats that they made, and of course i didnt get pics because i got to spend 1 and 1/2 hours in traffic trying to get there from work! so i didnt have time to stop at home for anything. why am i excited to go into the office to work everyday again???? oh thats right, im not!!! silly me, if only i loved to drive or at least sit in traffic. but alas i don't. the things i do for the office. and Im not sure why either, everyone thinks im quitting even though i keep saying im not. gotta love the gossip!! oh did i mention i was staying late at work to get trained on billing............ from the girl that i trained on billing in omaha like 4 years ago.... so it was pretty much useless, except i did get double the work done, i just had her enter things into the computer that i have not had time to do yet, its was nice to have a helper for a day.... rather than training on things i already knew.
oh emma did the funniest thing at the high school football game the other day. it was the big homecoming game. they had a table for a fundraiser selling teady bears with the school cheerleader uniform on. they were 20 bucks. she only had 93 cents. so she went up to the lady and said i would like to buy a bear, and gave her the 93 cents. the lady explained that she needed more, but she reminded the lady that 93 was more than 20, so, actually she DID not need more, she had enough. they lady gave her the bear and a piece of paper with her address on it and said she could mail the rest! ahhhh the power of money.

well we have our school hoe down and chili cook off this friday. that should be fun, my chili should win if the judges are any good. its the bomb!
