FISHING FOR REDS, YOU CAN SEE THE FISH AND JUST SCOOP THEM UP.
WELL HERE ARE SOME PICTURES OF US FISHING FOR REDS (SALMON). WE HAVE TO GO ACROSS THE INLET AND INTO THE CHINA POOT BAY ON HIGH TIDE 18-20 FOOT TIDE, IF YOUR NOT CAREFUL YOU CAN GET STRANDED ALL DAY LIKE WE DID, AND HAVE TO WAIT 12 HOURS FOR THE WATER TO COME BACK IN.

ohhhhh so many memories...thanks for the pics. How fun! China Poot was our fav and getting stranded was half the fun. Good memories.
thats funny! i am jealous you guys are having adventures without me. miss you!
You guys may think it was funny to see the boat "high and dry" so to speak, but we were lucky to have had it tied off to a tree on the upper side or it would have just rolled over, on its side and or top, seriously impairing its abilitiy to float again, and we were 6 miles from Homer and any help. We should have left someone with the boat while we were up at the falls dippin' fish. The head band was the only thing your mother could come up with to keep the skeeters off my solar panel while we were fishing, I forgot hat gear. We had a lot of fun that day, got 78-80 fish, some real nice ones too.
