Well it is now about 60 degrees. The sun is up before 5 am and goes down about 11 pm Its so fun to have so much light. Its hard to go to bed on time though. You just don't realize its late, when it looks like it's noon. The kids only have less than 2 weeks of school left so getting to bed won't be much of an issue anymore. Fishing season has started. It is halibut time and the hooks you see Jessica holding in one of the pictures below, are the ones we use for halibuts. They are big, but so are the halibut. Usually anywhere from 20-150 lbs. Its really fun to hook one and takes about 20-30 min. to reel them in. In the first outting on the boat, we got stopped for a safety check, you know, to make sure we have suffecient safety gear and everything up to code...... and we passed. Shweew.
Safety, punkin, safety!
I'm a safety girl.
2 points if you can tell me where the last 2 lines came from!
