SO Dave got 2nd place at the pine wood derby and made it to districts. He did not win in districts but had fun. Here are some pictures of his race. Grandpa got to be a judge.

Dave did very good, his car was at least competitive, and he did most of the paint and decoration, we sanded and turned the wheels and axles together, several nights. And then grandpa had to be one of the official judges too, fair and honest but tough. love dad
